About this material
Silverskin is the thin membrane that wraps each coffee bean and is removed during roasting. Produced in large quantities worldwide but rarely reused, Highsociety Studio harnesses its fine texture and subtle colour to add warmth and visual interest to material surfaces.
Properties
Coffee silverskin — the thin husk of the bean removed during roasting — recovered together with Italian roaster Hausbrandt. Dark, finely speckled surface.
