Agrimat

The biocomposite behind our luminaires — agricultural by-products, pressed into structural material.

Agrimat is the pressed biocomposite at the heart of the studio: agricultural by-products, dried, milled and bound with a bio-based binder, formed into dense panels and shapes. It is the material our Agriluma luminaires are made of — developed in-house, tested in our own products.

The pressing happens at low temperatures and on renewable energy, and each panel keeps the texture and tone of the residue it came from. Nothing is hidden or homogenised: the material's origin stays legible in its surface.

Agrimat is also available for licensing — for furniture and product manufacturers looking for a proven bio-based material that is already doing its job in real products.

Sheets of bio-based material take shape under heat and pressure. A slow, even force that keeps the character of the raw material visible.
